Eduardo Montero

Eduardo Montero is an Assistant Professor at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. He is an economist working on topics in development economics, political economy, and economic history. 

He is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an affiliate of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD).

Eduardo is from San José, Costa Rica. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 2018. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics in 2010 and an M.S. in Statistics in 2011.
